BUY THIS BOOK!!!

I first read this book nearly 20 years ago (yikes! was it really!). It changed my life then and helped me to overcome serious problems that had affected me throughout my troubled adolescence!! And when I say it helped me overcome these problems - it virtually did this overnight!! I was blown away and bought it for all my friends! In the last 18 months I have experienced new challenges and have spent a fortune trying to overcome these... and in the end after such a difficult time, I have rediscovered this beautiful book. And guess what! I can truly say that I am on the path to healing. <br /><br />Louise Hay wasn't just ahead of her time when she conceived this book. She was a true pioneer of all the law of attraction stuff. You can heal your life is so clear, so easy to follow, so logical... and with every chapter and every 'yes but...' the following chapter or passage just seems to offer a straightforward no nonsense solution. <br /><br />Louise's main premise is that love heals everything & that this love comes from deep within us all & we are all responsible for creating every experience of our life. It might sound a bit bum clenchy to the unitiated, but wow! - it is SOOOOOOOOO true. The experience of recognising one's responsibility in any situation is so freeing, and the opportunity to grow through this and to move towards knowing true Love (Source/ God/ Spirit - whatever you wish to call it)... is the most grounding & humbling experience one could ever imagine. I would like to add that I couple all her affirmations with EFT tapping. I have had brilliant results in only a couple of weeks. I really really have. Good luck with this, I love this book.

Great book

Lovely book from the TV series. Great remedies that you can try at home - have tried some myself and they are fun to do.

This book was not what I expected and that may be my fault for not researching the content properly.<br />Instead of practical methods, e.g. using food etc; it was a book of visualisation statements.<br />I returned the book. I did not use any of the statements, so I cannot verify whether they work or not. It just wasnt what I was looking for.

A Daily Dose of Doreen

A dose of Doreen every day is no bad thing in my opinion. I am recently redisovering the work of Doreen Virtue and was inspired to buy this CD after rereading her book"The Lightworkers Way" (which I can thoroughly recommend also). Unlike some of her other meditation recordings which I have found a bit rushed for my liking, these are two well paced and carefully measured meditations, focusing on the activation and maintenance of your main chakras. The visualisation is lovely and she gives affirmations to carry you through the day. I have been using it regularly and feel uplifted and appreciated whenever I listen.

Review of skeletal system wall chart

I just recieved the skeletal wall chart today and i am very impressed. It is clear and a must for anyone wishing to study anatomy or anthropology. It's actually bigger than what i expected and very detailed. Top marks!

Extremely beneficial!

I read You Can Heal Your Life, years ago and it was the starting book to many others that dealt with conscious creation. I've had this book for a couple of years also but it went on my shelf do later. Later came and I have been working through the exercises for several days now and I can honestly say the changes in my life are happening already. I'm seeing clearly the negative patterns I have, and as a great author once said"what you look at, dissappears!" Its like a counselling session on each page, excellent for healing past hurts and creating a newer, happier life.

No good for a massage course

A must read book for anyone concerned about their cholesterol level.

This is an excellent, easily 'digested' book covering all you need to know about cholesterol. I would urge anyone taking statins, especially women, to read it. Everything Dr Kendrick states is backed up with relevant research and shows the flaws in the data used by previous researchers, he contradicts current thinking with information that is not readily available to the general public. <br /><br />He writes in a humorous way about a serious topic and exposes himself to the wrath of the big drug companies by explaining the facts about how the public are conned into believing myths about heart disease and the role high cholesterol is purported to play.

A bit boring in places but worth a read for its practical approach to the Law of Attraction

I read quite alot of what some may term"new age" material so this book appealed to me. Since discovering the Law of Attraction I have been on a search for material that can explain to me how it works without the use of"blind faith". I suppose I have been after a more scientific approach. <br />I love the work of Abraham and Esther & Jerry Hicks as they give you practical instruction on how to go from feeling terrible to feeling good. However I feel the whole"channelling of Abraham" process requires a leap of faith right from the start!(Dont get me wrong I love their work and have travelled a long way to see them live and enjoyed it very much). Gregg Braden's book however approaches it from a much more scientific approach, referencing quantum physics experiments that go someway towards proving that you get what you wish for by using your feelings.<br />I would say this book is not for the serious scientist but more for the layman who wants a bit of a basic technical explanation as to how it may all work.<br />I was a bit bored in places (hence the 4 stars) as I felt he was just"padding out" some chapters for the sake of it. The book could have been half as long but would have been just as interesting. <br />I found it thought provoking and a relief that science is finally moving towards explaning all this rather than trying to deny its existence (as mentioned in one of the other reviews).<br />Worth a read. If you want a great book experience from a more spiritual approach try"Manifest Your Destiny" by Wayne Dyer. He is currently my number one spiritual hero!

S0 easy yoga

This little book makes so much sense. It describes a yoga workout that can easily be adopted into a busy lifestyle. Within a short time the exercises are well on the way to being mastered within one's own capability. A real find.
