I am not that good at cooking but I found the book very easy to follow the recipes. Great photos and really fab food! Great for a prezzie too!

101 One-pot Dishes

Excellent little book. Even though I expected it to be a full size book, the small format didn't detract from the presentation and great recipes.

Wow, this is the third book I have by Gino and as usual I am not at all disappointed.The recipes are all really easy to follow and all very tasty.The butternut squash and rocket soup is a big hit in my house, also the breakfast bars are a must and I make a batch every week.You must try the Chicken breast with parmesan, tomatoes and mozzarella yum!!and my husbands favourite spicy beef and wild mushroom stew double yum!!And best of all I'm losing weight as well so it's well worth buying.I have an obsession with cookery books and at the moment this is my favourite.

Hummingbird Bakery Book Review

I have recently purchased this book and can say hand on heart that the recipes I have tried have been delicious. The recipes do work if you follow the instructions. Please do not be put off with the methods used in the recipe as they do turn out fine and the frosting recipes are easy to make too.<br />I would recommend this book to everyone!.

Lovely line of books

I have nearly all of the books in this line and find them really good. As a well seasoned cook, most of the recipes are really good basic recipes that I have built on and improved but for starter cooks they are good as they are as well. Good value - recommended.

This is my first book from the lovely Ching.<br /><br />It's a beautiful book with great photos and easy to follow recipes. Really good quick, light and healthy meals.<br />(Perfect after the usual heavy Christmas time and trying to stick to my New Year resolution of getting fit!)<br />She has adapted Chinese recipes for them to be quick and easy. Lots of shortcuts - even marinating times are short!<br /><br />Her 'Store Cupboard' list and glossary at the back are invaluable.<br />I've found most of the ingredients in the big supermarkets. If you have a local Chinese shop/superstore or you can get to stock up in one of the many Chinatowns around the UK even better.<br /><br />Apparently she has been filming for her new series on Channel Five in London's Chinatown this winter. I'm looking forward to catching that!<br />

Great book for weaning...making good healthy food for your little one is essential and this book has some really easy recipes to follow

I bought this as a christmas present for a friend and have had no complaints. She's made me a few things out of it and they have all been delicious.

Appears to have some very usefull recipes. Great Hot Pot and Liver and bacon.

Delia's Complete Cookery Course

This is one of the most comprehensive cookery books I have read. The information given is clear and well understood both for beginners and more experienced cooks. There is everything you would need to know to start cooking, with good explanations about different cuts of meat, which flour to use for different recipes even down to what utensils you should have. Excellent book and well worth the money. Well done Delia Smith.

A very useful book although one little quibble

I have just received my copy of this book and read it from cover to cover. I am a huge fan of Nigel and this gardening-cum-cookbook will prove useful to both me and my hubby. I love cooking and he loves gardening and we are going to be growing some of our own veg again this year. <br /><br />I would have given Tender 5 stars but for one thing. I wish the photos of the dishes had been labelled describing what they were. However the recipes do sound great and I will by trying some and maybe tweaking others to suit our tastes.

This book didn't really add any more information than the meagre instructions that came with the oven. There are a few more recipes in it.

Splendid

I have bought four of these books so far, friends keep asking how I have managed to lose weight and this book is the way to go, so I send them the book. Even my husband loves the meals and doesnt even realise they are helping him lose weight and be healthier.<br /><br />I recommend it to everyone, its a little gem.

COOKERY FOR THE MALE MIND

For a bachelor, young or old, who has no help in the kitchen then Delia's Complete How to Cook is an absolutely basic essential. I sometimes read it in bed. I had an earlier softback version for many years but it got a bit battered. This hardback edition is so precous to me that I keep it in my study and refer to it, with clean fingers, as required which is frequently. Everything is explained in simple language from boiling an egg to producing a meal for a dinner party. Best results are achieved by a little bit of private practice. This book is all you need to become a perfect host. Worth every penny and will last forever.

One of the best!

I highly recommend this cookbook! All the recipes in this book are brilliant, had the lamb racks last night with the stringbean and hazelnut salad and its mouthwatering!

Couldn't put it down!!

Having read very few baby books I eyed this one a little suspiciously. However, I couldn't put it down. It is really interesting and very pratical.I didn't feel like I was being told what to do, just being offered some helpful suggestions. I liked the stories from people that had tried baby led weaning as well.

lifesaver

I bought this book as my husband had a heart attack recently, and eating habits have had to change. As it is written by someone who has had heart attacks, it is most useful.
