Documentary on the most haunted house in England
I enjoy reading books on the paranormal and have always been interested in Borley Rectory, the most haunted house in England. I [...] really enjoyed reading it. It is written in a really interesting way (don't be put off by the fact it was written over 40 years ago) and contains loads of spooky stories that went on in the house. If you enjoy reading this sort of book or if you just want to see what sort of weird things happened there then buy a copy...

Review:
Great ghost guide if you're visiting the broads
I bought this book as I was visiting the broads in June 2001. I found that most stop off points had a ghost story of some sort and they were documented in the book. Although a very good guide I think the stories did go on a bit and could've been shortened. The book would also of been better with some photos & maybe a map guide of some sort. For the price... definately worth buying if looking for ghosties on the broads.

Haunted Lincolnshire

Review:
HAUNTED LINCOLNSHIRE
This is a great guide to the hauntings of Lincolnshire, and manages to cover the entire county despite being only 100 pages. We have recently moved to Saxilby, in Lincs, and I was fascinated by the curiosities attached to the Sun Inn, Doddington Hall and Tom Otter's Lane, all nearby. You never know what's along the road!

Amazing
Amazing is a word that I would not normally use to describe a book, but Tom Slemen's books are literally that - amazing. Tom has the eerie ability to draw the reader into a world of mystery and the supernatural, set in places that the reader can identify with. I would go as far as saying that Tom Slemen is the greatest writer Liverpool has ever produced.

How to Be a Ghost Hunter

Review:
Strange pursuit …
This book is a field guide for the prospective paranormal investigator. It provides information on how to form a group for the investigation of the paranormal, how to research haunted areas and much more. The advice is very practical and the author obviously has years of experience in this field. He provides details on the types of entities likely to be encountered, like ghosts, spirits or dangerous spirit creatures that are best left to an experienced exorcist. I found the sections on how to capture paranormal phenomena on film and how to record disembodied voices and sounds on tape particularly interesting, as it is easy to do with equipment that most people already have. Plenty of sources for material are provided, as well as contact details of organisations devoted to studying these phenomena. The book contains photographs, an appendix, a glossary, bibliography and index. It is a very thorough handbook fo those who wish to pursue this rather unusual hobby.

A great read!!
What a brilliant book this is! A truly fascinating read. I recommend this to anyone who's interested in ghost hunting or ghosts in general. I first came across Jason Karl after seeing"Most Haunted" on Living tv, and having enjoyed the show so much I decided to investigate the field of ghosts etc. a little more.

The book is filled with information, and goes into detail about the different stages of ghost manifeastation, the various different types of ghost (some of which I had never heard of). As well as going through various haunted locations throughout the country.

It has definitely been written by somenone who's been there, and knows what he's talking about. Nice one Jason!!

Ghosts of Devon
This was the first ghost book I ever read, and twenty-odd years on, it remains the best. Peter Underwood is Britain's leading ghosthunter and president of Britain's Paranormal Society, which adds to his qualification on the subject. From the story of Dartmoor's 'Hairy Hands' near Princetown, to the haunted Inn at Chagford, this is the definitive ghost book. Buy it with confidence.

An Office Haunting

Review:
A Spine Thriller ?
A very short"True" Ghost story, set in a Solicitors Office. The author and his friend are employed to sort out paperwork for the firm and during this time they are joined by an unseen"Guest" who disturbingly causes Poltergeist type behaviour and takes a liking to the author and his friend and decides to follow them. The book is an interesting read both recounting the authors early life and the short time at the office and the Ghostly encounters.I would have liked the author to have tried to find out who their"Guest" could have been and if he has encountered anything since, although with the benefit of the few black & white photos, I think the author"Suggests" who their companion may have been. For those interested in the paranormal I think they will enjoy the book.If I have a critiscism, the book is very very short at only 88 pages, but that didn't spoil my read.
