This is the first 'Men' card book I have bought. It has some really original ides that I can't wait to try!!! Some of the ideas are basic but would be good for beginners. A bonus is the templates at the back of the book ready to trace around to make some of the cards in the book.There is also a list of stockists for the materials used to make the cards. It is a very well put together book and I am so glad I chose it. Well worth the money!!!!!!85

Sadly, although this book gives excellent, comprise and clear step by step instructions with good photographs, there are no patterns/designs in it and thus relies upon you purchasing the actual stencils it uses for examples. For a beginner this is therefore somewhat of a disappointment.90

This is simply the most inspiring book I've seen in ages. It is beautifully presented with tips and techniques on how to create journal pages. Lots of photographs help inspire you with ideas of your own and gallery examples of new and old journals are interesting and helpful. All the techniques described are easy to follow and not couched in artistic language that you would need an art degree to understand. Artist or not this will lead you on to better and brighter journalling!92

A great scrapbooking idea book by Brenda Walton, one of the top designers from K & Company. The book features her beautiful and extensive paper ranges and the layouts within range from simple to challenging. There are 8 pages of templates at the back of the book and they are very useful. Just trace onto acetate and reduce or enlarge to suit.93

The computer scrapbooking chapter was interesting and included a fairly long list of links of which only one proved to be dead when I checked them and they all seemed like very useful sites.

Now I've read a lot of books about scrapbooking and I have to say this was one of the best. It is logical and well organised and still offered new ideas and information. This would be a perfect first book to buy or one to turn to if you are feeling confused by differing advice.It includes chapters on:

This book is so lovely! At last, a 'how-to' book on collage and assemblage that isn't indescribably naff and 'hobbyist' but instead really focuses on the creation of beautiful works of art at a level that even the complete beginner can understand and appreciate.
